Pedro Chirivella scored his first professional goal in Go Ahead Eagles' 1-1 draw with Excelsior in the Eredivisie on Sunday afternoon.

The Spanish midfielder, who joined Go Ahead on loan from Liverpool for the rest of the season earlier this month, opened the scoring early on for his side at the Stadion Woudestein.

But an Excelsior equaliser midway through the first half denied Go Ahead all three points.

Another Liverpool loanee, Ryan Kent, also found the net this weekend.

Kent scored with an excellent left-footed finish to help Barnsley to a 3-2 Championship victory over Yorkshire rivals Leeds United on Saturday.
