Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus is keen to link up with Jürgen Klopp again at Liverpool, according to reports.

Klopp took the reins at Anfield earlier this month in his first return to management since leaving Dortmund at the end of last season.

Reus was signed by Klopp for the Bundesliga giants in 2012 and was a firm favourite during his tenure at the Westfalenstadion.

The Anfield chief insists he will not raid his former club for their best players, however, Spanish publication Fichajes claim Reus is keen to instigate an emotional reunion.

Liverpool had been linked with the German long before Klopp even arrived on Merseyside and could be keen to do a deal.

Current Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel might not be quite as eager, though, having outlined his stance on Reus previously.

"I talk a lot with Marco and he has my full confidence," he said. I could not imagine my team without him. He is very important to us because we need his talent."

The 26-year-old has been in excellent form this season, with three goals and an assist in the Bundesliga so far.

He has also been linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid or Barcelona.
