'No curfew!' Watch Houllier's Legends team-talk
Gerard Houllier mixed light-hearted pre-match instructions with a trademark call for focus on the game itself as he spoke to his Liverpool FC Legends squad for the first time in Sydney.
The Frenchman will be in the dugout as Steven Gerrard captains a star-studded group of former Reds for a clash with the Australian Legends at the ANZ Stadium on Thursday.
The game will be broadcast live on LFCTV and LFCTV GO – kick-off is at 8.30am GMT (7.30pm local time) – with exclusive build-up, the full 90 minutes and reaction from the stadium.
Gerrard, Houllier and co began to arrive in Sydney on Tuesday and preparations were soon underway inside the team hotel to ensure an impressive display on the pitch.
