Anfield uses NFC (Near Field Communication) technology for stadium entry and all tickets are digital on a smartphone, in the form of an NFC pass.

Season Ticket Holders must download their Season Ticket NFC pass from the ‘Season Tickets’ section within My Account.
You will only need to download your NFC pass once and it will automatically update each season.

General Admission NFC Passes are required for stadium access for any non Season Ticket Holders and Members.

Supporters purchasing tickets for this game must download their match ticket to the smartphone they will use to gain access to the stadium on match day. Tickets will be emailed to supporters within 21 working days of making their purchase.
The email will include instructions on how to download NFC Pass(es) using the Apple Wallet and Google Pay buttons included within the email. Supporters must select the relevant option (shown below) to the smartphone which they own and will be using for stadium entry.
Please Note - Supporters can only download TWO passes to ONE smartphone.
If supporters have more than two tickets within their booking, they should forward their email to friends and family they’re attending with so that any additional tickets can be downloaded onto their smartphone(s).
Supporters who do not have a smartphone should have a friend or family member they’re attending with download their ticket for them.
On match day, to help speed up the flow of supporters through the turnstiles, please arrive early and have your phone ready and unlocked with your ticket displayed on your screen.
ALL Season Ticket and Membership NFC PASSES WILL NOT BE ACTIVATED for stadium entry for this match.
Your NFC pass will be stored within your Apple Wallet if you use an iPhone or within your Google Pay app if you use an Android/Google phone.
