Accessing the stadium using NFC Technology

Anfield uses NFC (Near Field Communication) technology for stadium entry and all tickets are digital on a smartphone, in the form of an NFC pass.

Your existing NFC pass will remain active and should not be removed from your smartphone if you are:

• A Season Ticket Holder.
• An All Red member who has renewed the same membership that you had last season.

Your NFC pass will automatically update with the next match you are due to attend during the 2025/26 season. If your NFC pass is not showing in your wallet, please check your expired passes and restore the NFC pass to your wallet.
 
If you are a new All Red member or an existing All Red member who has changed All Red membership type this season, you can download your new members NFC Pass in the memberships section of My Account.

If you are not an All Red Member (Full, Light or Junior) or a Season Ticket Holder, you will need a General Admission NFC pass to be able to have tickets forwarded to you.

Please note, a new General Admission NFC pass must be downloaded BEFORE another supporter will be able to forward you a ticket.

Please note, if you or the person you're trying to forward to, previously had a General Admission NFC Pass from before the 2025/26 season, they will need to obtain a new pass from 2025/26. Click here for a step-by-step guide.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE DOWNLOADING YOUR PASS

• Ensure when downloading your NFC pass, you log into My Account from  the smartphone you will use to gain access to the stadium on match days.
• iPhone 6 and above, and most Android/Google phones are compatible with NFC technology.
• NFC passes cannot be downloaded using desktop devices.
• You must download your NFC pass before you arrive at the stadium.

Supporters can forward their ticket to another supporter only if the supporter being sent the ticket:

• Is listed on their Friends and Family list - for full information, click here
• Has an active season 2025/26 All Red Membership OR has downloaded a free General Admission Pass.

Season Ticket Holders must download their Season Ticket NFC pass from the ‘Season Tickets’ section within My Account.

You will only need to download your NFC pass once and it will automatically update each season.
