Liverpool scout US striker ahead of possible transfer
Union Berlin striker Bobby Wood has reportedly caught the eye of Liverpool.
The Reds sent a scout to watch Taiwo Awoniyi, their player who is on loan at FSV Frankfurt, this month.
And, according to the Berliner Kurier, the scout was impressed by striker Wood, who scored twice in the 4-0 victory.
The 23-year-old has netted 14 goals in 25 German second tier appearances after joining from 1860 Munich last summer.
A regular for the US national team, there are thought to be many clubs keeping tabs on the forward.
