Stoke boss Mark Hughes has told Liverpool to forget making a move for Bojan Krkic as the striker is not for sale.

Reports on Friday indicated the Reds were considering making an offer for the former Barcelona man after his impressive start to life at the Britannia Stadium.

Liverpool Brendan Rodgers is known to be in the market for a new forward and views the 24-year-old as a potentially cheaper option to Paris Saint-Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi.

However, Hughes has told the Merseysiders to forget about trying to prise their star asset away from the club, claiming he has no interest in leaving, having only moved to Stoke last summer.
