Forget Britain, Jamie Carragher today proved that Bootle's got talent when it comes to getting up on stage and belting out a tune!
Not to be outdone by his former Liverpool team-mate Robbie Fowler, who serenaded fans in Malaysia with a pretty decent rendition of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' on the recent Masters Asia tour, Carragher grabbed the microphone and got the whole crowd singing in downtown Guangzhou earlier this afternoon.
Rather wisely, you might say, Carragher chose the one event that wasn't covered by LFC TV's cameras today before doing his best Gerry Marsden impression and leading fellow team-mates John Flanagan, Maxi Rodriguez and Dirk Kuyt through the Anfield hymn.
The song took centre stage at an adidas event attended by competition winners, selected fans from all over China and special guests of Liverpool's kit suppliers.
