Reds pay tribute to Gilly
Liverpool Football Club were today saddened to learn of the passing of one of their most avid supporters, Stephen Gill.
A popular figure amongst Reds fans, Gilly sadly lost his long battle with illness on Friday.
Brought up in Kirkby, Stephen moved to the south coast to find work in the 1970s, but continued to follow the Reds, not missing a game home or away.
He later formed the Folkstone Reds supporters' club, which he ran for over 25 years travelling all over the country and around Europe.
Everybody at Liverpool FC would like to offer their deepest condolences to Stephen's family and friends at this sad time.
