Daniel Pacheco has thanked Liverpool fans for the support they've given him throughout his loan spell with Norwich City.

The Spaniard helped the Canaries seal a return to the Barclays Premier League with a 1-0 triumph at Portsmouth on Monday, sparking wild scenes of celebration from both visiting players and spectators alike after the final whistle.

However, Pacheco is keen to highlight the support he's received from Kopites since moving to Carrow Road in March.

"I've had really good support on the internet on Twitter and on the phone, and I need to say thank-you to every Liverpool fan who has been following me during my loan at Norwich," he told Liverpoolfc.tv.

"As always, they've been looking after me and giving me their support and confidence, saying they want me back at Liverpool.

"So I just have to say thank-you to every fan at Liverpool for the support they've given me."

Pacheco will sign off from his loan spell with Norwich on Saturday when they play host to Coventry City on what's sure to be an occasion that lives long in the memory of everyone connected with the East-Anglian club.

"It was a nice experience for me to be celebrating on the pitch with the Norwich fans, players and staff," he added. "They've done brilliantly all season and really deserved to get what they did.

"It was amazing to join in the special celebrations and now I am looking forward to next week and being in front of the crowd in Norwich and celebrate with them."
