Liverpool will discover their Champions League semi-final opponents on Friday after moving into the last four with a 5-1 aggregate victory over Manchester City.

The Reds completed the job against their Premier League rivals with a 2-1 win in the second leg of their quarter-final at Etihad Stadium.

Joining Jürgen Klopp’s side in the next round are AS Roma, who also sealed progression on Tuesday night by eliminating FC Barcelona on away goals after a 3-0 victory at Stadio Olimpico.

The remaining two semi-finalists will be confirmed on Wednesday evening, with Real Madrid holding a 3-0 advantage over Juventus and Bayern Munich 2-1 up on Sevilla ahead of their respective second legs.

The last-four draw will take place at UEFA headquarters in Switzerland at 12pm BST on Friday.

Semi-final first legs are set to be held on Tuesday April 24/Wednesday April 25 with the return matches on Tuesday May 1/Wednesday May 2.
