Sadio Mane and Danny Ings will resume full training with the rest of the Liverpool squad on Tuesday after injury.

The Reds duo will join in with their teammates at Melwood for the first time during pre-season as they progress towards full fitness following their respective knee injuries.

Mane and Ings remained on Merseyside last week to continue their recovery programmes while their teammates toured Hong Kong, but both will be included in Jürgen Klopp’s party for this week’s trip to the manager’s homeland.

Liverpool fly out to Germany on Wednesday for a training camp and three friendlies against Hertha BSC, Bayern Munich and either Atletico Madrid or Napoli.

Mane has not played since sustaining an injury against Everton in April, while Ings missed the majority of last season after picking up his problem in the EFL Cup tie with Tottenham Hotspur in October.

All four of Liverpool’s remaining pre-season friendlies will be shown live on LFCTV and LFCTV GO. Click here for information on how to sign up for either service.
