Brendan Rodgers has opted to make four changes to his Liverpool XI for today's clash against the Reds' fierce rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Brad Jones starts in goal, coming in for Simon Mignolet to make his first Barclays Premier League start since Southampton at St Mary's in March 2013.

The manager brings in Alberto Moreno to take the position of compatriot Jose Enrique at the back, while Lucas Leiva comes out of the team, with Philippe Coutinho his replacement.

Adam Lallana is restored to the line-up after missing the game against FC Basel earlier this week and he is in the team ahead of Rickie Lambert, who drops to the substitutes' bench alongside Mario Balotelli.

Elsewhere, Dejan Lovren, Martin Skrtel and Glen Johnson retain their place in defence as Jordan Henderson, Steven Gerrard and Joe Allen remain in the side behind Raheem Sterling.

Liverpool's XI: Jones, Skrtel, Lovren, Johnson, Moreno, Henderson, Allen, Gerrard, Coutinho, Lallana, Sterling.

Substitutes: Mignolet, Toure, Lambert, Lucas, Can, Balotelli, Markovic.
