Pepe Reina secured only his third shut-out of the season at West Brom - and then declared: "Winning is all that matters."

The Spanish 'keeper has made a habit of keeping clean sheets over the years, clinching the much-coveted Golden Gloves award on no fewer than three occasions.

He admits he was happy to keep the Baggies at bay at the weekend but remains adamant that three points is always the priority.

"It's always nice when the team is defending well and we keep a clean sheet," he said.

"But I just want to win matches and I'd take a 2-1 for us every time.

"After beating West Brom everyone is happy. The team is playing really well so we are confident.

"We know that if we are playing to our level not many teams will beat us so we have to keep that level up.

"We just want to keep the momentum going and keep playing the same as we are now."

Reina was also delighted with the form of Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll who both shone in the win at the Hawthorns.

"Both Luis and Andy had a really good game and there is a really good understanding between them," said Reina.

"We have to keep it that way. It's all about being consistent now, keeping the same attitude and concentration in every game."

He added: "That's the reason the new players were brought in - to improve the squad.

"They have to produce and deliver for the team and they are doing really well.

"Let's see if they can keep that level and momentum."
