2016 Hillsborough memorial service update
The final Hillsborough memorial service at Anfield will be held next month and those who wish to attend should note that the closing date for obtaining tickets is Thursday March 31.
Friday April 15, 2016 marks the 27th anniversary of the disaster at the FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest, in which 96 fans lost their lives.
This year is an extremely significant landmark for the families of the victims and all affected by the tragedy, with the new Hillsborough inquests in Warrington set to conclude.
This memorial service will also be the last to take place at Anfield, and details of the poignant occasion and how to attend were released here in February.
In the interests of safety, and to plan accordingly, tickets must be obtained free of charge from the club no later than Thursday March 31.
