Melissa Lawley joined Liverpool FC Women in 2019 after two-and-a-half years and more than 50 appearances at Manchester City Women.
A skilful and forward-thinking winger, England international Lawley was key to the Reds' FA Women's Championship triumph in 2021-22 and duly signed a new contract with the club ahead of its return to the Women's Super League.
During his her time with Manchester City, Lawley won two FA Cups and a Continental Cup, and also reached the Women's Champions League semi-finals.
She had previously spent three years at Birmingham City Women, having started her career with Bristol Academy.
Lawley made her full international debut for England in October 2017 and is now into double figures in terms of caps won.
