Ceri Holland joined Liverpool FC Women in January 2021.
The midfielder sealed her move to the Reds after spending four years in the United States competing in the college programme with the University of Kansas.
Holland, who has been recognised at U19 international level by Wales, had been part of the development programme at Manchester City for three years before crossing the Atlantic.
“It was one of the best decisions of my life, honestly, to go out there and just to experience a new culture, a new country and it made me grow a lot, not just as a player but as a person,” she said.
Ceri will wear No.18 for LFC Women.
“I’m excited to get here and start with the girls,” the Yorkshire-born player said. “It’s just an honour really to be representing such a big club. For them to give me this opportunity is just amazing for me and I’m really excited to get going.
“It’s a good environment to be in and an environment where I think I can add something to it and help the team with results, hopefully. That’s my aim really.
“I just can’t wait to get going now and get on the pitch and start playing football again and represent a great club.”
