Honour: FA Women's Championship (2022)

Ceri Holland has established herself as an important figure in Liverpool FC Women’s squad since arriving in January 2021.

Wales international midfielder Holland spent four years in the United States playing for the University of Kansas prior to joining the Reds and, before her US experience, had been part of Manchester City’s development programme.

She signed a new contract with Liverpool in July 2022 after helping Matt Beard’s team win the FA Women’s Championship title. 

A combative and energetic presence, Holland said of penning fresh terms: “I’m absolutely made up. When the option came on the table to extend my stay here it was an absolute no-brainer. I actually can’t wait to get going for the new season.

“I love working under Matt. He’s such a people person first and foremost. He recruits special people and I think that’s why we have such a special environment here.”

Holland will seek to continue her development in the Barclays Women’s Super League in the 2022-23 season.
