Liverpool FC Women confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Eartha Cumings in July 2022.

The stopper arrived at the Reds after two impressive seasons with Charlton Athletic Women in the FA Women's Championship, joining Matt Beard's squad, before a brief spell with Everton on loan in March 2023.

Her debut season at Charlton saw her named Players' Player of the Year, while in May 2022 she was named their Player of the Year after an impressive campaign that included nine clean sheets and a run of almost 15 hours without conceding a goal in all competitions.

The Edinburgh-born player also won her first international cap for Scotland in 2022, helping her home nation to a penalty shootout victory.

LFC Women manager Beard said: "We were impressed with Eartha's athleticism, her shot-stopping was unbelievable and her distribution was good.

"Her performances have got her recognition with her national team as well. Pottsie was really keen, he'd been monitoring her all season, and the two games we played against Charlton last year she really impressed in those games.

"At that point she was at the top of our list and we were able to get the deal done."
