Niamh Fahey, defender - Liverpool FC
Lifelong Liverpool FC fan Niamh Fahey joined the club in July 2018 and the Republic of Ireland international now captains the women's team.
Fahey started her career with her local side and moved to England with Arsenal in 2008, enjoying a domestic treble during her first season.
She went on to win another three league titles at Arsenal and four Women's FA Cups before a switch to Chelsea in 2015, where she won the double in her first year.
Fahey spent a season in France with Bordeaux and then fulfilled a personal dream by signing for the Reds.
A versatile player who is normally used at centre-back, she committed her future to the club by signing a new contract in June 2020 and was appointed skipper that same summer.
