Rylee Foster bolstered the Liverpool FC Women goalkeeping ranks when she joined the club in January 2020.
A Canada U20 international, Foster had previously spent four years with West Virginia University, where she registered 39 clean sheets in 84 appearances.
"It's been a dream for me to play for Liverpool since I was a young kid," said the stopper, whose grandparents are from Wavertree.
"To be able to start my professional career and be in Liverpool – this was the ultimate goal for me – so to be able to start here is amazing.
"I'm going to come in, work hard and do everything I can to help out."
Foster made her Reds debut in a Continental Cup win over Manchester United in October 2020 and signed a new long-term contract in March 2021.
