Liverpool are expected to make a new bid for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita next week.

Keita wants a move to Liverpool and, although Leipzig do not want to sell, the Bundesliga side could decide there is no point keeping a player who wants to leave.

The Guinea international has a £48m release clause in his contract, although that does not become active until next summer.

Leipzig have already rejected an offer from Liverpool worth more than £57m for Keita, according to Sky in Germany.

Inter Milan have also emerged as being interested in Keita but they would reportedly prefer to wait until next summer.

There are also unconfirmed reports that Manchester City have contacted Keita's representatives.

Leipzig sporting director Ralph Rangnick is trying to convince Keita to sign a new contract and recently said the club, which has qualified for the Champions League for the first time, would not be selling any of its key players.
