Liverpool send scouts to watch £30m German wonderkid
Liverpool are monitoring Schalke winger Leroy Sane, according to reports.
The Reds have already sealed a deal for Sane's team-mate Joel Matip to join the club in the summer on a free transfer.
And website Football Insider claim that Liverpool are interested in Sane, who’s rated at £30million, and they’ve regularly been sending their scouts to watch him.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is highly rated in Germany and won his first cap for the world champions in a friendly against France last November.
He made his Schalke debut in 2014 but he’s established himself in the first team this season, scoring six goals in 27 matches.
But it would take a big money offer to prize Sane away from Gelsenkirchen.
He signed a contract with the Bundesliga giants last July that ties him to the club until 2019.
