Ahead of Liverpool's Premier League clash with Sunderland this afternoon, club statistician Ged Rea provides the facts and figures you need to know about the game.

Jordan Henderson scored four league goals in 71 games for Sunderland and five in 79 in all competitions, while Simon Mignolet played 101 times for the Black Cats in his three-year spell with the club, including 90 in the league.

Milner scored his first ever league goal at Sunderland on Boxing Day 2002 in a 2-1 win for Leeds United. And the No.7 has scored more league goals in his career against the north east side than against any other team – six, with five different clubs.

This will be Jürgen Klopp’s 50th league game in charge of Liverpool. His record currently stands at 26 wins, 13 draws and 10 defeats.

Liverpool have won six of their 10 away league games this season. They won eight on the road during the whole of the 2015-16 campaign.

Sunderland have won three of their nine home matches this term, recording victories against Hull City (3-0), Leicester City (2-1) and Watford (1-0).
