Inside Training: Singalongs and rondos at Melwood
Liverpool's players were back at Melwood yesterday afternoon to continue their preparations for tomorrow's Premier League trip to Southampton.
The Reds were in high spirits as Jürgen Klopp put them through their paces at the club's West Derby training complex ahead of their visit to St Mary's.
The session began with a singalong after Georginio Wijnaldum and Ovie Ejaria celebrated their birthdays over the last week, before the squad warmed up and got stuck into some sharp passing drills.
Roberto Firmino was among the Liverpool players taking part in the rondos following his lengthy journey back from international duty with Brazil.
Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet, meanwhile, were tested with shots from goalkeeping coach John Achterberg.
