Joe Allen gave an inspired display as Wales reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016 after they came from a goal down to beat Belgium 3-1 on Friday night.

In one of the best games of the tournament so far Chris Coleman's side produced an heroic display as they now meet Portugal in the last four.

Allen played the entire 90 minutes while young stopper Danny Ward was an unused substitute, while Reds trio Christian Benteke, Divock Origi and Simon Mignolet remained on the bench for Belgium.

Marc Wilmot's side started brightly and went in front courtesy of a brilliant effort from Radja Nainggolan.

However, Wales showed incredible spirit and Ashley Williams equalised on 31 minutes with a header from a corner.

Hal Robson-Kanu then sent Coleman's charges into dreamland with one of the goals of the tournament on 55 minutes. Collecting the ball with his back to goal, the striker produced an unbelievable turn before firing beyond the reach of Thibaut Courtois.

Wales then had to withstand some pressure before substitute Sam Vokes added a vital third goal with a wonderful header five minutes from time to put the icing on the cake on an incredible night for Allen and co.
