It’s a huge honour for me to play for Liverpool Football Club and it means a lot to me.

This is a great club in world football, a massive team. Everyone knows the history of this club and how big it is, so for me it is a privilege to be here.

I recently made my first senior start against Bournemouth in the Capital One Cup and it is a night I will never forget.

I’d like to think I did well that night at Anfield and showed what I can do out on the pitch; however, I know I can improve.

At the moment, I am feeling good, training hard and trying to learn and improve.

I am really enjoying training under our new manager, Jürgen Klopp.

The sessions are helping me out a lot – everyone in the squad, in fact. He is passing on his messages for us to know what he wants. I really enjoy it.

But, as I said, I know I can improve more. Of course, I haven’t played a lot but if I can play more, I think I’ll get better.

So right now, my ambition is to try and get some more minutes for the first team. That’s what I am aiming for and working hard to try and achieve.

But the main thing for me will be trying to help the team where and when I can.
