Wilson nominated for U21 prize
Liverpool winger Harry Wilson is among the six nominees for the Barclays U21 Premier League Player of the Season award.
The Welshman, who has already been capped at senior level by his country, was one of the standout performers for Michael Beale's team in 2014-15.
He helped the Reds to finish in second place in the league behind winners Manchester United, scoring six goals in 18 appearances.
Wilson is in the running for the accolade after being picked out in a ballot of all U21 Premier League managers, along with five others.
They are Dominic Solanke (Chelsea), Duncan Watmore (Sunderland), Ange-Freddy Plumain (Fulham), Ryan Seager (Southampton) and Daniel Crowley (Arsenal).
The 18-year-old will find out if he has won the prize when an announcement is made on Friday May 29.
