Former Liverpool vice-captain Jamie Carragher stunned a Reds fan today by hand-delivering a 'One Night in Istanbul' DVD to her doorstep in Walton.

Jacqui Watson had pre-ordered the film that centres on one of the greatest nights in the club's history - the 2005 Champions League triumph over AC Milan.

But she had no idea that a hero of that night at the Ataturk Stadium, a man who made 737 appearances for Liverpool, would be bringing her copy.

"I couldn't believe it when I opened the door," she said. "I've been a Liverpool fan all my life and to see Jamie standing there with a big smile was a mixture of shock, excitement and happiness."

'One Night in Istanbul' stars the likes of Paul Barber and Samantha Womack, charting the hilarious tale of two down-on-their-luck taxi drivers from the city who strike an unusual agreement with a local gangster.

Their deal ensures they can travel with their sons to watch the dramatic final in Istanbul, but instead trouble awaits them in the form of a gang of ruthless criminals and a massive stash of stolen cash.

Carragher said: "This is a great movie, I attended the premiere last year and everyone who went loved it. The DVD couldn't come at a better time as we come up to the 10th anniversary of that night when we lifted our fifth European Cup."

The DVD edition of the film will be released on Monday February 2 but can be ordered in advance right now for £9.99 by clicking here to visit the Official LFC Online Store. Please note that the DVD is Region 0.
