The latest edition of Liverpool's weekly magazine show, #LFCWORLD, features Reds forward Daniel Sturridge in cartoon form as he introduces the latest instalment of 'You Are The Ref'.

A renowned British comic strip which presents a series of awkward refereeing challenges through smart artwork, 'You Are The Ref' has run in various publications since 1957, joining #LFCWORLD at the start of the current campaign.

Created by Paul Trevillion, famous for 'Roy of the Rovers', the strip features contributions from top referees - and in Episode 9 of #LFCWORLD, Sturridge is on hand to guide viewers through a particularly challenging poser.

Elsewhere on the show, we hear from Emre Can, the powerful midfielder who arrived at Anfield from German outfit Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, as he brings us up to speed on his recovery from an ankle injury.

The 20-year-old has missed the Reds' last seven games due to the problem he picked up while starring for Germany U21s in early September; however, Can has been busying himself by adjusting to life on Merseyside, as he explains in our latest show.

Phil Thompson, the first Scouser to lift the European Cup for Liverpool, played alongside and locked horns with the world's best during his 13-year Anfield career. But who would make it into Thommo's all-time XI? Find out in Episode 9 of #LFCWORLD.

Meanwhile, Liverpool Ladies played the club's first ever UEFA Women's Champions League fixture on Wednesday night against Swedish side Linkopings FC and we've got the goals and reaction from the start of their European adventure.
