Fowler: I'm more than happy so far
Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has given his thoughts on the Reds' start to season and the excitement that is set to follow when Champions League football returns to Anfield.
Fowler was particularly impressed with the response Brendan Rodgers' men gave in comprehensively defeating Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Sunday after defeat to Manchester City earlier that week.
"At this stage of the season it's about teams trying to galvanise and get used to each other again," said Fowler, "I'm more than happy so far.
"The second-half performance against Manchester City was perhaps not as good as the first half, but you have to say the display against Tottenham Hotspur was brilliant.
"Every player stood up to be counted; as a manager and supporter you always want to see a reaction after a defeat and we got that."
