One of the true greats of the game, a hero to millions and praised by the likes of Pele and Maradona has arrived exclusively on LFCTV GO...Zico.

The man who lit up the World Cup in 1982 with a Brazil side many have claimed was one of the very best, has given us an insight into one of the defining moments in his stunning career - defeating Liverpool in 1981.

Bob Paisley's European Cup winners headed to Tokyo to challenge Brazilian giants Flamengo for the Intercontinental Cup, a shot at the treble for Zico's side having already claimed their league championship title and only Copa Libertadores honour.

The famous No.10 produced a dazzling performance and was later named man of the match as Flamengo claimed a 3-0 victory against the likes of Kenny Dalglish, Graeme Souness and Alan Hansen.

The first in a special series on LFCTV GO relives that match 33 years ago, with the great man himself explaining how his side set about preparing to take on the Reds, the players he admired most in Bob Paisley's team and the truly unique mementos he still cherishes to this day.
