Once the euphoria of signing for the club he loves had settled slightly, new Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert outlined why he is determined to 'hit the ground running' and push the Reds forward.
The 32-year-old completed a switch from Southampton on Monday, becoming Brendan Rodgers' first capture of the summer and returning to the team he left as a youngster in 1997.
