The latest instalment of LFCTV's 'World Stars' series examines the playing career of a man who will be out to break English hearts when the World Cup gets underway in Brazil next month.

Edinson Cavani's story is just one of 20 short and slick mini-documentaries, focusing on the potential stars of the forthcoming tournament, which will be broadcast on the club's official channel over the coming weeks.

Each episode of 'World Stars' focuses on a different individual and features an exclusive interview with the player in question as well as tributes from their footballing counterparts.

Liverpool stars Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge kick-started the series last Thursday - while this week, the spotlight has so far been switched to Lionel Messi, Mesut Ozil and Thiago Silva.

Now it's the turn of Uruguayan hitman Cavani to take centre stage as the likes of Diego Lugano, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the Reds' own Suarez line up to laud the Paris Saint-Germain star's abilities.

"What he is showing as a player is incredible," Suarez explains in the documentary. "Everyone knows who Cavani is now, and it's a pleasure to share the dressing room with him.

"He's a good teammate, a good person and someone you can talk to about anything. I've known him for around seven years now and I think that helps on the pitch."

The episode will premiere on LFCTV at 8pm BST tonight and will be repeated later at 10.30pm BST, but LFCTV GO subscribers can enjoy priority access now by clicking play below. If you have not already signed up, click here to join now.
