Daniel Sturridge has today been named as the FTBpro PFA Fan Player of the Month for February, as voted for by fans.

The striker continued his outstanding form throughout the month, scoring five goals and claiming two assists as the Reds maintained their excellent form.

Sturridge began February with a goal in a 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion and followed it up with another strike in the stunning 5-1 Anfield win over Arsenal.

The 24-year-old then netted in a 3-2 win at Fulham before hitting two against Swansea City at Anfield.

The FTBpro PFA Fan Player of the Month awards are designed to give a strong voice to the supporters who are the lifeblood of the game. They are endorsed by the players and supported by the clubs.

One lucky fan voter will present Sturridge with the FTBpro PFA Fan Player of the Month award before Liverpool's home game with Sunderland on Wednesday, March 26.

Voting is now open for the March Player of the Month and fans can cast their votes at www.ftbpro.com/fanawards.
