Stevie: I'd consider managing LFC one day
Steven Gerrard has admitted that becoming Liverpool manager is something he would consider 'very seriously' if the offer ever came about in the future.
The 33-year-old has lifted the European Cup, FA Cup and League Cup as Reds captain during a phenomenal 15-year Anfield career.
He continues to lead by example out on the field and has achieved a number of landmarks already this season, including the 100 Barclays Premier League goals mark with a strike against Newcastle.
While Gerrard is still very much an integral part of the Reds' side, he admits he would like to try his hand at management once his playing days are over.
Speaking from the set of a film shoot for the forthcoming launch of the Xbox One console, Gerrard ruled out one potential career path almost instantly: "I think acting is certainly out of the equation!
"I'd consider management maybe if I was good enough. But just because you've been a decent player and had a successful career at Liverpool, it doesn't mean you're going to turn out to be a top manager.
"But if I was good enough and I ever got the shout to be the Liverpool manager in 10 or 20 years, of course I'd consider it very seriously.
"So probably punditry or management are more in favour for me than acting."
