Last chance to enter LFC x NB 5-a-side tournament
To celebrate the launch of the new LFC x NB Sportswear collection, Liverpool FC and New Balance Football are calling on fans to enter their five-a-side team in the LFC x NB Tournament.
The competition will see 10 squads – aged 18 or over – selected to take part, with the first stage set to be held in Liverpool on Friday November 25.
The tournament will culminate in a final at the LFC Academy in Kirkby on Friday December 2, where the remaining two teams will compete to take home the coveted prize and have the chance to meet a Reds first-team player.
Following the final, LFC ambassador Ian Rush will present the winning team with their prizes at a special event to be held at the LFC Retail Liverpool One store on Monday December 5.
The prize up for grabs includes: the chance to meet a first-team player and LFC legend Rush; a hospitality experience at LFC v Swansea City on January 21, 2017; the chance to play at the LFC Academy; clothing from the exclusive LFC x NB Sportswear range; and a New Balance team kit and football boots.
Teams will also win £500 to donate to a charity of their choice, as well as £500 to donate to an LFC-nominated charity of their choice, including the Liverpool FC Foundation, Anfield Sports and Community Centre, Anfield Children’s Centre, and Positive Futures North Liverpool.
Entries are open from now until Monday November 21, with teams being selected based on their explanation as to how Liverpool FC has influenced them.
