Besiktas coach Senol Gunes has revealed that the Turkish outfit won't be signing Anderson Talisca from Benfica, and hinted that the 24-year-old could already have a deal in place with Liverpool.

The Brazilian has spent the last two years on loan with the Turkish side and his impressive showings have drawn interest from around Europe.

Premier League outfit Wolves and Serie A side Roma have both been linked with a move for the attacker, while Besiktas had the option to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Liverpool were also linked with a move for Talisca during the winter window, and it now seems as though Jurgen Klopp's side may have locked down a deal for the emerging star to join the club this summer.

"Talisca was already gone at the winter break," Gunes said after their last game of the season against Sivasspor, in which they won 5-1 with Talisca on the scoresheet. "I'm sorry that he won't be with us any longer. I wish he could stay for his sake and ours. He already had a deal in place."

Gunes then hinted that the Premier League outfit would be his landing spot, alluding to Talisca being a rival for Everton star and former Besiktas forward Cenk Tosun.

"He might be rivals with Cenk Tosun," the manager said.

Rumours have also linked Talisca to Manchester United in recent days, and exactly what Gunes means by "rivals" is up for debate.

Klopp and Liverpool finished fourth in the Premier League this term but found plenty of success in Europe, where they will take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final on May 26.

If Liverpool have already locked up a deal for Talisca, he will be joined in their summer signing class by Naby Keita, who last August signed a club-record £48 million ($65m) deal to move to Anfield this summer.
