Though still awaiting his first call-up to the Brazil national team, Benfica attacker Anderson Talisca is a promising striker who has demonstrated solid skill in Portugal.

His strong play in spite of somewhat limited production has earned the attention of Liverpool, who are now willing to splash a lot of cash to bring him to Anfield.

According to HITC via Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, Liverpool are apparently willing to pay up to £21 million for the Benfica forward Talisca.

Talisca has scored 16 league goals dating back to his first two senior campaigns in Brazil with Bahia. He enjoyed a breakout year with Benfica after a transfer to the Primeira Liga giants in 2014, scoring a career-high nine goals in 32 appearances.

During the 2015-16 season, Talisca made three goals in 20 appearances in Primeira Liga en route to league title and league cup honors.
