Liverpool close in on Benfica forward
Liverpool are closing in a move for Benfica forward Anderson Talisca, according to reports.
The FA have received an application for a work permit for the Brazilian with Portuguese outlet O Jogo suggesting a deal is in the pipeline.
Talisca, 22, has 20 goals in 76 appearances for Benfica and has previously been linked with moves to Chelsea and Arsenal.
He can play as either an attacking midfielder or further forward, and scored three times in 20 outings in the Portuguese league last term.
