Liverpool appear clear to complete the transfer of Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Digne with the French outift reportedly actively searching for his replacement.

The Reds are said to be huge fans of Digne, 22, who has attracted the attention of several clubs after a consistent run in Ligue 1.

And Brendan Rodgers’ charge could be on the verge of signing the left back as, according to Fichajes, PSG are resigned to losing the France international and are currently lining up a move for a replacement defender.

The Merseyside club were thought to be in talks with Digne last week over a potential move, with the former Lille star willing to make the switch in search of more first team opportunities.
