Reds target confirms interest
Lucas Digne, a reported summer transfer target of Liverpool, has confirmed he had offers from Premier League clubs in the summer.
Brendan Rodgers was keen on the PSG left-back, 22, but he snubbed the chance to move to England, opting to join Roma on a season-long loan instead.
“I’d received offers from England too, but I realised that Roma was the club I wanted the most,” Digne told French publication L’Equipe.
“I’m here on loan, so I can’t say how long I’ll be here, but I’ll give everything for this shirt.”
