Ki-Jana Hoever's Netherlands kept their hopes of reaching the knockout phase of the FIFA U17 World Cup alive by beating the United States 4-0.

The Dutch lost their first two Group D matches to Japan and Senegal respectively, but bounced back in style with a resounding victory over the USA.

Liverpool defender Hoever played the full 90 minutes in Goiania, Brazil.

Other results in Groups E and F on Sunday will determine whether the Netherlands will progress as one of the tournament's four best third-placed sides.
