Fan Update Blog

Liverpool FC’s Fan Update campaign is now live for Priority Rights Holders, Members who did not complete the process in the 13+ campaign in 2019/20 and supporter who were successful in the ballot.

Jan 12th – 10:00: ONE DAY TO GO! If you are a priority rights holder, bought tickets in the November sales or you have recently gained 13+ credits and have not yet validated your account, please use the Fan Update link and have your valid ID at the ready.  Please remember that each supporter must have a separate email address (unless you are a junior) to validate their account. Supporters are advised that those who do not complete the process by the deadline (5pm Friday January 13th, 2023) will have their Memberships cancelled, which means all tickets connected to the account will also be cancelled.

Jan 10th – 10:00: With 4 days left until the deadline, please check your emails to see if you need to validate your account, or we have contacted you looking for more information about the process. Have your valid ID (passport, driver's license or citizen’s card) ready and follow the instructions on the emails. If you do not have an email from us, you do NOT need to complete the process. 

Jan 7th 10:00: It’s Matchday! If you are travelling to the game or sitting at home waiting for kick off to begin and you have yet to complete the Fan Update process, please take those 5mins to get your ID (passport, driver’s licence and citizen’s card) and follow the instructions on the link in the email you received. Then sit back and enjoy the game!!

Jan 6th 10:00: One Week Remaining!!! The deadline to complete the Fan Update process is January 13th. If you are a priority rights holder, bought tickets in the November sales or you have recently gained 13+ credits and have not yet validated your account, please use the Fan Update link and have your valid ID at the ready.  

Jan 3rd 09:00 - We are now less than 2 weeks away from the January 13th deadline to complete Fan Update, if you are yet to upload a copy of valid ID against your account, we recommend completing the process as soon as possible. Please click on the link here and login to complete the process. If you have not been contacted by the club by email, you do NOT need to complete the process.

Dec 22nd 10:30: We are back with our League Cup game tonight!! If you are travelling to the game or sitting at home waiting for kick off to begin and you have yet to complete the Fan Update process, please take those 5mins to get your ID (passport, driver’s licence and citizen’s card) and follow the instructions on the link in the email you received. Then sit back and enjoy the game!!

Dec 21st 10:00: All supporter who bought tickets in last week’s sales, supporters who accrued 13+ credits and Priority Rights holders must complete the Fan Update process by January 13th. Please click on the link here and provide your valid ID to complete the process. If you have not been contacted by the club by email, you do NOT need to complete the process.

Dec 19th – 9:30:  As the domestic season is back on Thursday, don’t forget that if you have purchased tickets for the second half of the season, you need to complete the Fan Update process to ensure to can attend these games. It only takes 5 mins with your valid ID (driver's licence, passport or citizen's card).  Please remember that each supporter must have a separate email address (unless you are a junior) to validate their account. If you have any issues with the Fan Update process, please fill in the forms provided throughout the journey and/or contact us by webchat or email contactus@liverpoolfc.com.

Dec 19th – 9:30: Happy Monday. All supporters who need to complete the Fan Update process recently received a reminder email to do so. Please check your spam/junk email if you have not received this yet. Please follow the instructions on the email, using your ID (driver’s license, passport or citizen’s card).

Dec 16th – 9:30: Happy Friday! Don’t forget to complete the Fan Update process online here. It only takes 5 mins with your valid ID (driver's licence, passport or citizen's card).  Please remember that each supporter must have a separate email address (unless you are a junior) to validate their account. 

Dec 15th – 9:30: While you are spending 5 minutes trying to stay warm in this weather, why not complete the Fan Update campaign! Click on the link with your ID (driver’s licence, passport or citizen’s card) to complete the process. If you have not received an email from the club to do Fan Update, you do not need to complete this.

Dec 14th - 10:00: We have just under a month to go before the Fan Update campaign ends (13th January). If you are a priority rights holder, a member with 13+ credits from previous seasons or you purchased tickets in the recent November sales, please read the link on our website and have your ID ready!

Dec 5th - 9:30: The number of supporters who have validated their account is rising each week, please do not miss out! Remember, if you do not complete the Fan Update process by January 13th, any tickets you have bought for the second half of the season (from January to May) will be cancelled and your membership may be deactivated. Nov 30th – 9:30: All supporter who bought tickets in last week’s sales, supporters who accrued 13+ credits and Priority Rights holders must complete the Fan Update process by January 13th. Please click on the link here and provide your valid ID to complete the process. If you have not been contacted by the club by email, you do NOT need to complete the process.

28th Nov – 9:00: It’s the beginning of another week! Time to make sure you have everything in order with your LFC ticketing account and the Fan Update process. Please provide your valid ID (driver’s licence, passport or citizen’s card) when completing the journey here. All supporters must provide ID to complete this. If you do not receive an email from the club directly, you do NOT have to do Fan Update.  

Nov 25th – 9:30: Happy Friday! Remember if you purchase tickets in today's sales, or you have done so earlier in the week, you will need to complete the Fan Update process by January 13th to keep your tickets and memberships.  It only takes 5 mins with your valid ID (driver's licence, passport or citizen's card).  Please remember that each supporter must have a separate email address (unless you are a junior) to validate their account. 

24th Nov – 9:00: Another 1,200 supporters successfully validated their account ahead of the second half of the season, don’t be left out and submit your ID now! Please, remember to check all your details matches your ID before you start the process. ALL supporters (including juniors) must complete the Fan Update process using valid ID (citizen’s card, driver’s licence or passport).

23rd Nov - 10:30: Halfway through the week and halfway through the member's sales. Don't forget that when you purchase your tickets this week to complete your Fan Update process also. You have until January 13th to complete this and please make sure you have valid ID at hand to upload onto the system. The link to complete Fan Update can be found here.

22nd Nov 10:30: The members sales that are taking place this week will not be affected by the Fan Update process. You will be able to buy tickets in the sales if you have not completed Fan Update. However, if you do not complete the Fan Update process by January 13th, the tickets you have bought will be cancelled. 

22nd Nov – 10:00: We have successfully validated over 1000 supporters yesterday which is a brilliant start to the campaign. Please only attempt to validate your account if you were successful in the recent ballot or you are a Priority Rights Holder with the club and you received an email confirming you need to complete the process.

21st Nov - 11:00: All Members who purchase tickets in the November sale will need to confirm or amend their registered details in order to gain entrance to the stadium using tickets bought in the sale. In order to complete the process quickly and efficiently, supporters will need a form of photo ID, such as a passport, driving licence or citizen's card. Fans can complete the process by going to www.liverpoolfc.com/fanupdateSupporters are advised that those who do not complete the process by the deadline (Friday January 13, 2023) will have their Memberships cancelled, which means all tickets connected to the account will also be cancelled. For more information visit our Fan Update FAQ hub.

21st Nov 11:30: Please only try to complete the Fan Update process if you have been successful in the recent ballot and you have been contacted by the club via email. We are experiencing large numbers through our site so please ensure you have been contacted before entering the site.

21st Nov - 11:45: If you are member with 13+ credits and you've previously completed Fan Update you do NOT need to do it to complete the process again.
