Liverpool are exploring the possibility of bringing goalkeeper Pepe Reina back to the club this summer.

The Merseysiders completed the signing of Loris Karius from Mainz last week for £4.7m but it is understood that Jürgen Klopp is open to adding the experienced Reina to his goalkeeping department.

Reina left Anfield for Bayern Munich in 2014 following a season on loan at Napoli and subsequently returned to the Italian club in a permanent deal last summer.

The Spaniard is firmly established as the No.1 goalkeeper in Naples but, according to Corriere dello Sport, the 33-year-old is tempted by a return to Liverpool.

Reina was a fans' favourite during his nine-year spell with the Reds and Klopp is keen on having the experienced stopper around to support Simon Mignolet and Karius.
