Junior Members enjoy special Melwood press conference
A group of lucky Junior Members recently had an afternoon they will never forget as they got the chance to interview three Liverpool first-team players.
The 20 youngsters arrived at Anfield and were treated to lunch in the Boot Room Sports Cafe and a coach soon came to transport them to Melwood ahead of a special press conference.
Upon arrival they were greeted by LFCTV presenter Steve Hothersall and official mascot Mighty Red, before being introduced to Christian Benteke, Adam Bogdan and Joe Gomez.
The Junior Members quickly took their seats and had the chance to ask questions to the Reds players inside the press room at the training ground.
And there was also time for the young reporters to collect signatures from the trio and have their photos taken with the stars and Mighty Red.
To cap off a memorable day, the 20 youngsters received a goody bag as a memento of the experience before boarding the coach back to Anfield.
