Liverpool have offered Naby Keita a contract worth £130,000-a-week, according to reports.

Keita is Jurgen Klopp's top midfield target this summer after an impressive season for RB Leipzig.

The 22-year-old scored eight goals and provided as many assists in 31 top flight appearances to help take Leipzig into the Champions League for the first time.

And as a result the German side are desperate to keep hold of Keita and their other star names.

But Keita is understood to have a £70million price tag and Liverpool are ready to test Leipzig's resolve by submitting an offer wth add-ons around that figure.

According to The Times, Keita is keen on a move to Anfield and Klopp will tell the club to push for him on his return to Merseyside for pre-season this week.
