The agent for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner refused to be drawn on Liverpool's link to the player but confirmed interest from England.

Agent Karlheinz Forster told Bild that Werner is certainly being watched by clubs from England but he refused to name any specifically.

The Germany Under-21 international has emerged as a target as reports indicate the Anfield side have been scouting him throughout the campaign.

"There is general interest from Premier League clubs," Forster said. "The English are everywhere in the Bundesliga - they scout and track players intensively - and Timo has made himself even more interesting with his performances and goals for Leipzig."
