Liverpool and Chelsea have 12 days to trigger Timo Werner's €52m (£49m) release clause at RB Leipzig.
The German has been prolific this season and has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga outfit.
His release clause of £49m expires on June 15 though and will make securing a deal more difficult.
