Liverpool and Tottenham have been told they will have to pay at least £25m for Koln defender Jonas Hector.

The Germany full-back's stock has risen following an impressive Euro 2016, with Premier League clubs taking notice of his ability.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp knows Hector from his time managing in the Bundesliga, while Tottenham are on the lookout for a defender ahead of their return to the Champions League.

But, according to Bild, Koln have increased their asking price for the 26-year-old following his exploits in France in a bid to fend off interest from Liverpool and Spurs.

The German side are keen to keep hold of Hector and believe an asking price of £25m will make Spurs and Liverpool think twice about pursuing the left-back.
