Schalke expect hot prospect Leroy Sane to still be with the club in the summer despite strong interest from a handful of big clubs.

Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Liverpool are all understood to be interested in the 20-year-old but Clemens Tonnies, the German club's chief executive, doesn't think he's going anywhere.

"I do not see Leroy Sane leaving Schalke any time soon," Tonnies told German newspaper Rheinische Post.

"Everybody who wants the best for him has been telling him that he should stay at Schalke for at least one more season.

"You can still see him developing game after game."

Schalke are desperate to hold on to Sane, especially after they lost Julian Draxler, one of their star players of last season to fellow Bundesliga side Wolfsburg before this campaign kicked off.
