Liverpool are reportedly eyeing up a double raid on Fiorentina in the January transfer window, with Giuseppe Rossi and Mario Suarez their targets.

The Reds look in need of some changes this January after an inconsistent start to the season, with new manager Jurgen Klopp likely to be keen to put his own stamp on a squad inherited from Brendan Rodgers.

Both Rossi and Suarez seem likely to leave La Viola after falling out of favour, with Gazzetta dello Sport mentioning Liverpool as leading contenders for both players.

Italian forward Rossi would be an ideal signing up front given the injury woes suffered by Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings, while Spanish midfielder Suarez could arrive on loan to deputise for Jordan Henderson.
